Hello bloggers welcome back, surely when you going to write a post you need to get prepared, concentrating or relaxing, everybody has a different way to do everything. In this post I will give you some tips that you may consider when you are writing a post, specially to make it nice for reading. In the preview entry I was talking about the post structure and what I think about it. This post is very related so if you like this, you should check the last one.

Once you know a little about the post structure, you need to know the next step at the moment of writing a post. So I will give you some tips, catch them! :

1. Check your grammar: the first and more important thing you MUST to do is to check your grammar. Is very bad to have a post with some grammar errors, the people will understand it but is not fun to the reader. So after you wrote a post and before publish it, check at least 2 times the orthography and look for errors…correct the respective errors ( if you found ones) and then publish your post. Once published, re-read your post directly from your blog and if you find an error, for more tiny it could be, correct it immediately, sometimes you can miss something on the correction process.
2. Check the title: in the correction process, you should read the title and search for another better and replace it if you found one. I change the most of my original post titles when I going to publish a post, and remember, search for the most killer title!.
3. Use an image: to make your post more fun for reading, you may consider to add a image related to your post information to do it nicer. Is good to read something and find a little image in the middle of the information.
4. Adjust the alignment: probably you start to write the post and you forget to set the text alignment. After you wrote, I recommend you to *justify* the text to get a better look on your post.
5. Ask something: sometimes is good to do a kind of question to your readers. This way, the post will be more dynamic and your readers will feel more connected with you, as you were talking directly with them.
6. Greetings: this is part of your education, always is good to say a simple *hello* or *good bye*. I always do it with all people I talk, no matter if they are strangers or not, is nice to receive a “hello/how are you” message. This can open you many doors, also you could catch some readers, just for be social or educated.

With those 6 tips probably you will improve your post quality, by doing simple changes. I have not more to say today, this is basically all what I do when I’m posting. While you write a good post with useful information combined with a *pretty look*, you will catch the most of people reading your post and hence they will go back to your blog the next day just another piece of cake!

Many people at the beginning of their blog career write and write as crazies when they are writing a post, and the result is many lines with no sense. This happens to everybody in the first weeks but then, when they keep going on their blog they follow an ascending line improving little by little their posts content.

Tip:When you going to create a post, you need to organize your ideas before start to write. Once you have all your doubts cleared and you found the right sense of the post, start writing!!

But there is a post structure or manual can you follow to write a post, there is an strict order?

Too many bloggers want their posts be nice for reading, and probably they “follow” a guideline at time of posting. I think there is not a guideline or manual to follow because every single blogger has him/her own way to write him/her ideas don’t you think?. Every person, not only bloggers has a different way to do everything, it’s something own that everybody has and born with it and it’s call personality .

However, I’ll give you the tip to make your posts nice for reading, this is how I think at the moment of posting. I think this is the correct sense, it is to me but I repeat, you and only you have a particular style at the posting time:

1. Title: what’s the first on a post, starting with T and ending with E? Yes! we got a winner, is the Title!. You need to choose a title related to your entry, and try to do it attractive for the public. Is more attractive something like “10 reasons why you should hate microsoft” than “microsoft sucks”, you got the point right? try to choose a killer title!.
2. Introduction: the first paragraph could be perfectly a kind of introduction of what will you talk about in the next lines. Although the title can provide this information, is good to “canalize” the information through the post.
3. Body/Main: in this section you should write the main idea about you want to talk. Here you may write everything you want to say about the post. Notice that this information must be related to the title or your post won’t has coherence.
4. Conclusion/Moral: this is the last step. Here you should to summarize all the post information and make reference to the most important ideas.

This is a great order right , you can’t say the opposite or I will ban you! just kidding, really, what do you thing about it? do you have a similar order or you think I’m skipping something? share your ideas and if someone is looking for a kind of style, he/she can collect or the styles information combining them and get their own!

As conclusion, you need to know that there is not a single structure to post and share your ideas. As programming, driving or simply expressing, there is too many ways to do the things, you only need to follow which you consider the best one.

Why bloggers are like desperate to expand their blogs? I had this question yesterday when I was dropping entrecards like a mad for everywhere. Is true that when your blog is quite new, you search for everything which can help to expand your network like social media networks, registering in all them at the same time and commenting for everywhere, but you really don’t need to do that to expand your blog.

Take It Easy

Take a breath and continue reading, take it easy!! world won’t ends tomorrow and you have a lot of time to register your blog on all those infinite stuff to increase your network. You need to go slowly and go step by step, don’t try to run when you just crawl because you won’t reach the goals you set. Expand your blog, get a lot of readers and tons of traffic daily can be a slow process, but you don’t need to desperate. Tagging, commenting and subscribing to feeds are a good way to do it, but it won’t be reflected since morning to night and you need to be a little patience, when you think your blog could be over, it will reborn like a fenix, thats guaranteed.

Now I’m taking it more slow, I’m seeing how my statistics are increasing and I feel happy for that. I hope that this will continue throughout the year, so I’ll fulfilled one of my goals for this year 2008 .

What’s Social Media Networks ?

The Social Media Networks are a great tool for all us, the bloggers. With them, news, blog posts, photos, videos, and podcasts are made public via social media websites through submission. Thus networks are big communities online, normally accompanied with a voting process to make media items become “popular” and be shown on the popular or hot list.

The Importance Of Social Media Networks

You should know in the blogging world, be referred on other sites is the key to expand your blog and attract more readers. And what’s better than social media networks? All them are really important to get new readers because their system makes easy the promotion task, showing your link for everywhere and letting to the people rate your post/blog.

All thus latest days I was joining to many networks, the next is a list with some of them:

When someone give you a digg, a stumble or tagged you, your respective post will be show in their social media profile as a recent activity. Everybody who check their profile, will see your post and the reviews about it, and there is good possibility that visit your post. But how can you get this points, reviews or comments? very simple, you need to start to add people to your profile, look for who has a good mount of friends and review their profile. Giving good reviews about their posts and commenting on other profiles will help you to make tons of friends and you will start to attract them, getting their attention and get tons of traffic by there. As you can see, on my first days I was getting ~100 visitors by day, and you can see how my traffic exploded from ~150 to almost 300 visitors yesterday! and that was with a simple stumble, imagine if you get many stumbles, diggs and reddits everyday…that is to get 5000+ visitors by day ! think about it.

Social Media Advantages

• Cost: you need to pay for nothing, all those stuff is free!.
• Improve Traffic: get tons of visitors by day, getting more readers and expanding your network exponentially.
• Make Friends: make new friends and partnership. This will help you to future actions/deals.
• Share Your Media: your media will be public shared: posts, photos, blogs and everything you want.
• Discover: discover interesting sites with the big directory.

Disadvantages? I don’t think so !!!

Moral: Using social media networks you can easily share your media with people around the world. Those networks are perfect to get a viral traffic, being linked in too many different profiles, you can explode your traffic in few days, you noticed it, the changes are instantly .

When you manage a blog and you see your readers mount start to increase, you want to post more and more every single day. But what about these days when you are down, busy or simply you DON’T want to blog ? I received 3 mails with this question this last days and I found it very interesting, may be you don’t believe me but the answer is pretty simple.

Why to blog ?

This question is linked with the other one. The first blogging objective is to express yourself and your ideas! although there is people who blog just for money and eventually they will be leaving their blogs, without motivation you have nothing…I going to ask you something : Why do you blog ? In my case, I just blog because I like it and I feel the interest and motivation to do it. But there are moments in our days where probably you are tired and you don’t have the feeling to blog, what would you do?, should you post or not?

In those moments when you have not the feeling to blog, simply DON’T. If you blog in those conditions, you will do it bad and bored, also your readers will notice it! would be better to wait to other day and write a good post with quality. Posting everyday won’t make you better than other bloggers, indeed sometimes is better to wait one or two days and accumulate a good content quantity to then post it and kick some ass .

So, write or not write frequently? thats something you may graduate because every people have different rhythm. If you have the feeling to post everyday with good quality, DO IT but if you don’t, just wait, take you some free days and do something inspiring to you like playing a musical instrument, visiting the mountain or just siting down in your garden, whatever inspiring thing to you could help you to find the motivation you need.
