Hello readers, this blog is one month old, it is online since 1st January 2008. Today after my first month, I will provide you the statistics that you probably want to know about this blog, how many unique visitors I got, organic clicks, etc.

Lets start by the Google Analytics charts:

In this month, I got almost 4300 visits and 7000 pageviews. The most of those visits were through new visitors, getting 79.28% on new visits. Those peaks are product of social media networks, mainly StumbleUpon.

Here you can see how the numbers are distributed. The first you probably noticed is the chart, it’s mostly blue, corresponding to referring sites with 85.47% of my traffic. Directly, I got 12.47% visits and just 2% by search engines, giving me the hint that I really need to improve my SEO. Since about January 10 I got my first peak. That day I joined to StumbleUpon and you can see how effective is it. Then I keep getting some peaks, products of stumbleupon mostly, getting a 36% of my visits through this social media network.

Now lets talk about the subscribers via feed:

This is the graphic of the last 30 days. You can see how the subscribers number has been increasing with the passing of days :grin:. The first day (January 3) I got 25 subscribers, and the next days I keep improving that mount. Yesterday I got my first “peak” for now with 69 subscribers, but this number will increase the next week, I’m pretty sure of that. I want to have 100+ readers before this month ends - warning: a goal has been set! - and if you are reading this and you enjoy this blog, you can contribute subscribing to my feed now.

I’m in a lot of communities like mixx, stumbleupon, entrecard, mybloglog….you need look up for me and you will find me in all of them with the username MrJavodotCom or MrJavo. And talking about communities, I want to talk about my performance there. I have made too many friends through this social media networks, getting close with many bloggers around the world and making partnerships with them.

Ok ok, do you see that? in only one month I get listed in the top of the recommended users on entrecard beside bloggers like John Chow and Darren Rowse, what is it means, I’m a pro blogger?? I personally think that I’m just good, but you can see my recommendations to see what other says. I had read incredible reviews that almost make me cry, all them flatter me a lot :lol:. Seriously, thanks for all those reviews!

In MyBlogLog, I’m attracting daily more people to my community. This past month I got 80 readers, and that number increase everyday!

And talking about rankings, Google did not rank me because I was too young when they update the rankings, so I keep unranked and really I don’t care about it. In Alexa, the things are different:

In general, I’m glad with those numbers. May be those numbers are not the best, but are better than I thought they were going to be. I will continue doing contests and giving you more and more tips about blogging. I will write more posts to the Blogging For Beginners Guide and also I’m thinking on creating an eBook as 2008 year goal. What do you think about my stats, they are good or not?
