I read the article “Start your hobby blog with Tumblr platform.” It seems that Tumblr may be targeting the niche between the newbies who use Blogspot and the main stream who use WordPress.
In my opinion, WordPress.com is the best place for newbies and it transitions easily into a WordPress installation when the newbie wants a more powerful blog platform.
Tumblr and Blogspot may have a purpose, but I think Tumblr’s efforts will fail if it focuses energy on targeting the niche between the newbies who use Blogspot and the main stream who use WordPress.

Great links as always Javo…I hope you’ll return soon with more words of wisdom!
