The first screen I saw made me say a wow! It’s completely different and it’s very well organized, I really like the new presentation…

Here is a screenshot of the Dashboard of WordPress 2.7:

Nice review. I’ve seen lots of videos and reviews about 2.7.

Should I wait for 2.7.1?

I don’t think so. This version is fairly impressive. I suggest you to get the automatic wordpress upgrade plugin, so you will need to make like 4 clicks to backup/upgrade your wordpress installation…

Thanks for the input. I’ll be sure to update it ASAP then.

Man… and I just updated to wordpress 2.6.5 I’ve got to upgrade again! lol No that’s awesome that they come out with the newer versions so quick. I wasn’t that impressed with the newer version, but that’s probably just because I was comfortable with the old one. You know how it has the recent links side bar thing, do you know how to switch that? Before it showed recent links from technorati, but now it’s from yahoo, and most are just from comments I did. Any ideas on how to switch that?

So does this mean I should be upgrading my 2.3.3 WP? lol

Seriously, I know this sounds stupid, but I have no idea how I go about upgrading my wordpress platform.

I had a play with some automatic upgrade plugin, but couldn’t get the darn thing to work. Guess I’ll give it another go.

I love the new WordPress 2.7. It comes with everything I always wanted WordPress to have! I can’t say it’s perfect, but it has greatly improved since the last one.

I found it a bit of a shock when I first installed it. Took a little while to get used to it.
