Income Report – November 08 Earnings

As I told you once, I don’t know why I didn’t post about my blogging incomes before. But also, I promised you to talk about it every month! So this will be the first income report that you will see on almost 1 year of blogging!
Reviewing the last months, I can say that this month was a good one. Let’s see the table of earnings:
- Private Sales: $85
- Text Link Ads commission: $14.91
- OIOPublisher commission: $23.50
- Web Design Projects: $150
- Commission Junction: $180
Total : $453.41
Unfortunately this month I didn’t make commissions with other affiliate networks, like I did in other months… Now with my web design services I hope to start earning some hundreds of dollars per month with them. By the way, I’m going to use the domain http://design.mrjavo.com/ to present my portfolio, but now it’s under construction… You can see one of my latest finished works by visiting Bruno Auger dot Com, which I redesigned completely. The next year I will present another eBook, sharing some information about how I make money with the programs listed in this post, giving special tips and useful strategies…
The following days I will post about some SEO things and about how to migrate a wordpress blog!.

Nice, that’s the essential goal. I changed of hosting this month and I spent about $100 renewing domain and paying the host for 1 year more… By the way I forgot to discount that from my earnings…

First of all I would like to congrat on your success making the income as stated.I am also trying to monetize my blog up to unlimited, and we all know that getting tons of traffic is essentials to this business, I was just curious maybe you can share with us, how many visitors per day to get that kind of income?your reply is highly appreciated and keep up the good work

Thanks Javo, I would suspects you get like 1000 visitors per day? …lol….does alexa rank have any effect to traffic, i was told by other top IM that alexa ranks doesn’t automatically increased your traffic..if so…then why we chase for alexa rank then..better we concentrate on getting tons of visitors..pls share your opinion…thx

In effect Alexa does not affect your traffic, but you can know an estimate through it, it’s just a reference… I get like 400 visitors a day, a little less or a little more… When I run a contest or depending of the frequency which I write I can increase that number…

Thanks Mr Javo,so with that 400 visitor per day, then you can make that kind of money as you reported monthly, US$453.41, with the assumption that , if I manage to get that kind of visitor per day, would i get the same or less, i know this can not be measured, I am just being impatience …lol, and how long did it take you to get there starting your first day of blogging,…i hope not too long…lol, anyway thanks for the response and congrats to your success.great job man!

Yes Ari you are right, but it depends of other things besides traffic. Some months I make $200 and others $500, it’s a little unpredictable so I can’t tell you the exact formula… I started this blog on January of this year, and I remember that I made $160 that month, $200 the second one but then or March and April my incomes dropped under $100.
What I can tell you is not to desperate, take it easy that eventually the money will flow…

Showing your income earnings does a lot to let readers know the outcome of the use of certain methods. It shows them that there is validity behind a site, and that the owner is being more public than private about their results/successes.

Not sure if we had great minds but I did my first income post on my blog for the past 3 months. I did not actually want to reveal my income but was asked too often by readers thus I go ahead with the income post anyway.

Hey Wei,
the good part of sharing your incomes (being they bad or good) is that you will show to your readers that you are making money online, and everything you explain them about this niche is working for you and this way, you will be making stronger your brand as someone who makes money online.
There are many bloggers out there who write tons of things about mmo but in fact they do not make money with their blogs… So what is the point of writing about this niche when you don’t put in practice all your knowledge?.

For the sake of credibility, I second the notion that those in the MMO niche needs to show any earnings proof to their readers.

About the redesign of Bruno, he hasn’t put anything there. I made those boxes (and the footer ones) widgetized, this means that he can add through his wordpress panel everything he wants there with editing any code… May be he is busy doing another things…
Some good stats. 500$ a week nobodies going to complain with, and to think you can get more then that, is pretty sweet. Hopefully you’ll start getting more redesign offers, and that should bump up the total a little.

I have not made much money from blogging. I cannot complain about my online stores, those make plenty. I do find it that blogging for a living takes a lot of effort and commitment. Many Guru bloggers make it seem a piece of cake. I can say that Problogger is more down to earth. Great job her with your blog. You do seem to be doing great with your rankings.
