Hey bloggers, as you may know Entrecard is one of the most used tools on Internet by bloggers. Since the beginning, the Entrecard’s team have been upgrading the platform and today, they announced the EntreBar.
The EntreBar is a toolbar which lets you to surf the blogs registered on Entrecard by categories, advertise on them and write recommendations, among other Entre-options… Here it is:
As you can see in those images, it has some buttons which simplify all your activities on Entrecard. As you can see in the image above this text, you can surf blogs by Most popular, Newest, Cheapest, Most Expensive, Most Advertised and Random, once you chose a category (in the case of the pictures, they chose surf among their Favorites).
The two green arrows are the most amazing function. The single green arrow, works like the Stumble! button in the stumblebar, showing you the next blog. But also, the Entrecard’s Team think big and that’s the reason of the double green arrow. With that icon, you can open the next 10 sites following the specifications you want. Also it has a little heart which you can add/remove a blog to/from your favorites.
Conclusion
This bar is pretty good, I really like it because you don’t need to visit the Entrecard’s site to start visiting and dropping cards in other blogs… The only problem it presents is the compatibility, it only works with the Firefox browser. For me it’s not a problem because I use it, but if you are an IE, Opera, Netscape, Flock, Safari or another browser user, you cannot use this bar.
I invite you to give it a chance, download the EntreBar and share your experiences! If you want to get more details about this toolbar, visit the Entrecard Blog.

The feature looks promising, but I’m having trouble logging in. Maybe I need to use in on FF3.
I’m using Firefox 3, but it’s compatible with FF2 too…
I’ve been wondering whether to bother installing the toolbar for EC.
My main concern is the memory seepage of Firefox. Firefox loves munching away at your memory, so any additional add-ons may slow things down more so.
Either way, I’ll give the tool bar a go.
Cheers Mr J. Great post as always.
