The Importance Of Socializing

Written by Mr. Javo

PJN July Promo

Hey there, recently some many bloggers have being asking me to exchange textlinks. Unfortunately, I have rejected all these requests because I’ll be giving many text links this month, in some sponsored contests. You have to understand that I don’t want to overload the sidebar of textlinks.

However, I want to tell them that I’m happy to receive these requests, and I could give you some backlinks through my posts if you want.

Anyways, in this post I want to tell you the importance of socializing and be friendly with the people who visit your blog. This is very important for a simple reason, 6 degrees.

6 degreesWhat is Six Degrees?

This is a law which talk about the connectivity between the people. Following the definition of wikipedia:

Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one step away from each person he or she knows and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is an average of six “steps” away from each person on Earth. Is a little hard to understand, I recommend you to visit the link to wikipedia and read the law with more details.

Never happened to you that you find a connection between you and another person through a familiar or friend, but you never thought they know themselves? Well, this is because the law of 6 degrees. Basically, you are connected with every person on the world through a patch created for 6 persons. Everything is connected, and as you can imagine, you should never reject a business opportunity, because you don’t know the turns the world can give.

Also, by the same way you should never be disagreeable with anybody, because tomorrow that person can help you, specially if we talk about business. Every single blogger, can be a potential partner in the future, following the six degrees law.

To conclude this post, I recommend avoiding underestimate every opportunity you get. That insignificant idea, could be the one which explode your blog, giving you thousand readers, improving you revenue and all the things every blogger want to have.

This also apply to everything on the life, don’t forget it

Written by Mr. Javo

Daily, thousand blogs are created and added to search engines, thought there are another thousand people who want to create a blog or website, but they don’t have idea about the niche they want to blog. I recommend to all these people to visit Vivid Lamp.

What Vivid Lamp Offer?

Vivid Lamp is a blog that offers help to find, promote and create ideas. Website creation, ideas and niche discovery related to marketing, are the topics covered by Simon at his blog.

There you can find a very useful free tool called Niche Warehouse. The idea behind this tool is to attempt to simplify the process of finding long tail keywords and to speed up the filtering out of poorly performing niche phrases specifically in Google.

What are these long tail keywords? These keywords are an expansion of a core keyword. Many people use them attempting to rank higher in search engines because people usually don’t use them. By using them, you have a better chance of ranking high when people use a search engine such as Google due to less competition.

VivdLamp ~ Spreading Ideas

The Ideas

In the section of ideas, you could find great video posts, which can help you open your mind to new concepts. The best video I could find there, talk about Secrets Of Success, where the success is explained in 8 simple words: Passion, Work, Good, Focus, Push, Serve, Ideas and Persist.

Organizing Your Ideas Before To Write

Written by Mr. Javo

Writing is the essence of bloggers. Besides the knowledge of HTML code, the participation in social networks or building a marketplace at their blog, writing is the basic of every blogger, making us writers.

I have read about some ideas to organize your thoughts before to write a post. From making drawings, I will give you my techniques to organize my ideas before to write a post:

  • Making Mind Maps: A mind map is a visual representation of chunks of information and the relationships between those chunks. Starting with a central idea, you would create a basic mind map by writing a phrase that identifies the central idea in a piece of paper. Then, you should write keywords based on the main idea, linking them with lines. By following the lines, you will be able to visualize how you can detach the topic. After that, the ideas will start to drain through your neurons and you will write without problems. The concept of mind maps, is to connect the general idea with the most detailed ones.
  • Writing Keywords: This can be or not, part of the Mind Maps. Writing many keywords will help you to have an idea about the things you can mention in your post. Once you wrote a keyword, is good to write a little text or whatever you have in mind, relating the keyword and the main topic. Sometimes, I use Google Sets, which automatically create sets of items from a few examples.
  • FreeWriting: Sometimes, when you want to write something, you get stuck thinking in front the screen, trying to get something good. After a moment, you still thinking and having nothing of your post, something that can be frustrating. In these cases, you should write everything you think, being good or bad. You have not the need to write it with sense, the order doesn’t matter here, just write all the ideas that crosses your mind. Then, read and underline the good things you can use on your post, and your mind will link all the ideas automatically. Generally, I do this in a paper, and not in the computer.
  • Setting Categories: Before to write about a topic, you should think big. More general than the idea itself, the category is an important factor which can help you to canalize your idea. In fact, the category is the major keyword of your post.

I know that sometimes, many bloggers get stuck writing a post, it happens to all us eventually. By following the four things listed above, you could easily organize and environment your post. If you have another way to organize your ideas before to write, comment it here, will be fine to hear other voices.

7 Ways To Keep Your Audience

Written by Mr. Javo

Daily, many people visit my blog looking for blogging tips or information to monetize their blog. Some of them, read a couple of posts and get a subscription by e-mail, visiting me constantly and taking part in this community. Others, simply read something of their interest and never come back to my blog.

Once, I was a fan a John Cow, I visited his blog everyday and commented on all his posts. But eventually, for some reasons I lost the interest. I don’t want to lose you! Keep coming to my blog please! So In this post I will share my secrets with you, about how I keep my audience coming back to my blog.

The next is a list of 7 things to keep your visitors coming back to your blog, as a magnet attracts the metal!:

  1. Giving them what they want: As I told you some lines above, most of my audience are bloggers and marketers. Here, they look for blogging tips, affiliate marketing programs and these kinds of stuff. What if I start to write about Poetry? You don’t need to be Nostradamus to know what will happen here, because it is so obvious that the people will start to leave! So, to avoid this, give to your visitors content related to your blog’s niche.
  2. Sending them E-Mails: Let’s face it, nobody will visit your blog everyday. Sometimes, your readers forget about your blog with all the content in Internet waiting to be discovered. In these cases, is good to send them an e-mail reminding them about your existence, maybe with some promotion or just saying hello could be fine.
  3. Poking them on social networks: There are many social media networks there. MyBlogLog, Sphinn, Mixx, Digg, Facebook, Propeller blah-blah… There are many social networks where you can interact with your readers. Sending them a simple message in these communities you can attract (again) their attention, and they will come back to your blog to see your advances. Also, you can forget all what I said in this point, and send them a message by Twitter!!.
  4. Replying their comments: In an active community, many people leave a message in the posts expressing their thoughts about the topic in question. Although you get several messages, try to reply all (or at least the most) of them. Also a general message replying many of them could be good, but replying your reader’s comments it is the key of this. If you don’t reply their comments, they will feel ignored, and they will not participate in your blog.
  5. Referencing their blog: If your visitors have blogs, you should reference them. This idea is not new, but it was getting more importance in the blogosphere the latests month. Referencing to your reader’s blogs, is a signal that represent that you care about them and their blogs. In addition of that, with this you help to increase their backlinks. This is a good way to attract simple visitors and make them your friends.
  6. Commenting on their blog: If you referenced their blog, surely you have commented on it. Commenting in other blogs you are spreading your image and brand with many people. For each comment you do in other blog, at least 1 person will visit your blog through your comment, that’s sure. I have attracted some readers through this way.
  7. Bribing them: Hahaha I have not reached this level of despair, but still being an alternative  . Giving entrecard credits, dollars, free backlinks or whatever you want to give (for free) should work!

Good tips uh? You have 7 choices to keep your visitors coming back to your blog. You don’t need to do all them, but at least the points: 1, 3, 4 and 6 should be constant. Do you have another trick beside mines? So help me and my readers sharing it!

Happy Blogging

Should You Pay For eBooks?

Written by Mr. Javo

Through the Internet, there are thousand ebooks about everything. Internet marketing, blogging and SEO, are the most common topics of these eBooks but, should you pay to get that information? I would say that you should not.

Teach Yourself

What’s the difference between an eBook and the rest of the websites on the Internet? The organization. I have read many eBooks (all them for free of course), and I have to say that I have not found one that really taught me something great. I mean, none of them made me say wow, I had not idea about this!. None of them have taught me something that really worth a price. All these information, it is available on internet for free through blogs or websites, only that all these information it is unorganized and you must to search and collect it.

They Worth the Price?

When you going to buy an eBook (if you are going to…) You should research before to buy it. Questions like It really worth?, can I find this information for free?… Will help you to take the decision at the buying time. I never (and I will not) have bought an eBook, because I think that all these information can be found on internet for free. Before to buy an eBook, search on Google for the niche of the eBook and you probably will find more than that ebook can offer to you.

The Lie

Some days ago, I got a paid ebook for free through torrents. I thought that I was lucky because I got something that worth for many bucks for free! But when I read it, I laughed as you have not idea. The eBook cost about $90 and it is totally a scam. I am wonder about how can be this possible, what I read on that ebook is scam, all the information inside I knew it before start my blogging career. Now, the big question is: Why the people promote these eBook?

Why the people promote these scam? Mr. Javo respond: that is a simple question. Many people promote these scam for two simple reasons:

  1. They were swindled and they can’t accept it: this is selfish, I can’t understand it. If I get scammed by a program, I would post it here to let the people know about the scam.
  2. They get commissions for each sale: may be you get scammed, but if you can get a percentage of a referred sale, why don’t promote it? Many of these eBooks have a referral program, but again I have to say that this is selfish. Leave beside the money interests and tell to the others about the scam!.

I think that may be the business is not to learn about SEO, Internet Marketing or about the eBook’s niche. May be the business is to swindle the people and get commissions for that, so what is the point?

The Conclusion

I don’t recommend you to buy eBooks. If you want to learn about something, you should search through the big G. There are million of sites indexed on Google, and surely, at least on a handful (hundreds) should be the information that you need. Believe on yourself and in your knowledge, there is not better teacher than you. If you want to learn about something, just look into the infinite resources that Internet can provide you.

10 Reasons Why I Forget Your Blog

Written by Mr. Javo

Hello readers, this morning I was looking for a blog about making money online to make a couple of consults about some affiliate programs, but I couldn’t find the blog through my bookmarks, I must missed it when I formated my pc the last year. Although I tried to remember the title/url of the blog, I couldn’t and finally I ended searching on Google and finding the information I wanted but not in the respective blog. This fact inspired me to write this post about the commons which makes you forget a blog.

The following is a list of ten things that make you forget a blog. Because although I searched on Google for that blog, even the keywords of making money online could not help me to find it with million of results. Try to avoid the ones listed bellow:

  1. The URL too long or too hard to remember: this is the principally because people forget about blogs. When I was thinking on a domain name for this blog, I discarded a list of about 20 URLs, leaving about 8 of them. If your blog has a *hard to remember* URL, your readers could start to leave it. The best is to choose a short URL or if it is long, it should be easy to remember.
  2. A Bad title: this point relates to the first. The normal is to set the title according to your blog’s URL but it may not strictly be the same. If the title of your blog is too long, you can have in the URL an abbreviation. However, the title is something important, you may select it relating to your brand or something that anyone read it on Internet and recognize it easily.
  3. A Bad logo: this is part of your brand. When you are going to create a blog, you should have plus the url and title, a logo for your blog. You may have a logo related to your title or niche. Many people uses as logo a picture or animated caricature of themselves, others use the initials of their blog’s name. It is up to you, but you should have something that anyone recognize it on social networks or ads.
  4. Poor or repeated content: if your blog has poor quality posts with many grammar errors of simply bad content, your blog will be forbidden. It is important to read your post several and adjust anything which you consider neccesary. Also, if you steal or copy the content of other blogs, your readers will start to leave because they could read the same content in other blogs, may be best than yours. I don’t want to say with this that you must post 1000% original content, if you search on google “Reasons Why I Forget Your Blog” may be you will find several results, thousand or probably millions. I mean that you need to write your own content to your way.
  5. You neglect to post: with this I want to say that if you don’t update your blog’s content often, the people who follows you regularly will start to leave your blog. Besides of keeping your blog updated, It is important to pay attention to your readers and reply to their mails or comments. It is better to have few faithful readers to have many occasional readers.
  6. 1000 bloggers or more use your theme: it is better to have an own theme that one which everybody has over the web. With this you will not lose all your readers, but it’s something that helps to lose a handful of them. Your theme is like your personality, your presentation. If thousand of bloggers has your theme, it will be bored to your visitors if they’ve look that theme before.
  7. A Bad navigation: may be you have paid for your theme, but if it has a bad navigation it will be hard to surf. A simple design with everything easy to find is the best way to avoid this cause. An archive or sitemap it is perfect to help to your readers to find the content on your blog.
  8. Longtime to load: try to not overload your blog with many content. I have seen blogs, which shows like 10 posts a page, and this is bad, if your blog has many content, scripts or banners it could take many time to load, more than usual. Try to control that.
  9. Your blog is boring: I once wrote a post about this point, about which makes your blog boring. Avoiding scrolling on your blog and having your posts clear of banner’s tons will help to make your blog more fun for reading.
  10. Nothing special, your web isn’t unique: there is a possibility that your blog is not bad, but neither is surprising. You should try to have something different to other bloggers: attitude, humor, style… Something particular that distinguishes you from the masses. This is up to you, you may find the way to be the unique possible.

And cut! there are your 10 reasons why I could forget your blog. Try to not make these mistakes or if you did use one of them then try in the most possible way to correct it. Remember, never is not too late to correct the mistakes made on the past  .
